The Merida eOne-Forty 700 Electric Mountain Bike is designed to bring the best of dual-suspension trails bikes and electric bikes to the same world. With the top-of-the-range Shimano EP8 motor offering a whopping 85Nm of torque, this bike is capable even on rough terrain and technical climbs. The 630Wh battery will keep you riding for hours while the capable 140mm FOX Rhythm 34 Float air fork and the RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock are built to take on even the roughest of trails. With an aluminium frame, the eOne-Forty 700 is designed to be able to withstand the knocks while still remaining lightweight. The mullet design of the eOne-Forty with a 29er in the front and 27.5” in the rear and its aggressive trail-specific geometry, and shorter wheelbase, makes this bike an agile, capable and fun ride. This offers a playful feel while still being able to take on rougher trails. The Maxxis Rekon tyres offer grip where you need it, but are still fast rolling for a trail-specific bike reducing resistance so you don't drain your battery as fast, and can ride for longer. Shimano SLX 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes offer excellent stopping power, which is especially important with the added weight and speed of an eBike. Finally, the Shimano Deore M6100 10-51T 12-speed gearset combined with the amazing EP8 motor means you will power it up those hills and shred it down the trails.
